What the hell did she mean when she said that she loved you if not, like, literally that?

I certainly wouldn't tell someone I loved them while I was killing them when there were ample opportunities to do so earlier, if that's how I actually felt!

That- that's terrible to do to someone! It was terrible of her so it must have been to hurt me of course! She must have thought it was funny when I tried to confess it back! She probably laughed afterwards!

I think it's more like... She ran out of time. She wasn't expecting you to die in the second week. Your impending death really put a timer on things, y'know? I told her to make sure not to leave anything unsaid because she'd regret it otherwise.

[Laying that on someone like two seconds before murdering them is decidedly Uncool, he knows, but he can sympathize.]

And, no, she didn't laugh about it afterward. I think all of that is just a front, y'know? She wasn't like that when we were alone.

It's irrelevant. Despite what she may have said in a moment of high emotion and stress I am quite sure that she has no interest in a woman such as myself.
