[Newt desperately needed a break from people after the trial. The beach is quiet enough--he's tempted to go further, maybe check out the cave or the jungle because who cares? He's going to die anyway.

But he has people he wants to say goodbye to first. Not now, but... in a little bit, after he's collected his thoughts. For now, he's just standing on the beach, looking out at the water.]

[Aughhh Bellamy why did you have to be hanging around on this part of the beach, too? Newt isn't sure that he wants to talk to this guy right now, but they're both right here, and... Aw screw it, they may as well get their ducks in a row before the trial tomorrow. Newt's been doing an awful lot of comforting and not a lot of strategizing. Someone's gotta stay levelheaded in all this.]

week 1 - bellamy - wednesday morning

[Newt is up early (sleeping is hard tbh) and after a hefty day of exploration yesterday... is off to continue that trend. Today's focus: The cave! He didn't get a chance to really check it out in as much depth as he wanted to earlier in the week.

He's minding his own business, sifting through sea shells and wanting desperately to check out that underground pool, but he's being a good science boy and sticking close to the mouth of the cavern. For now, anyway.]
