i'll bring the footage back to you. this isn't something i want to broadcast to everybody.

there isn't much left in the labs besides empty containment tubes but i'll see if we can bring something back.

figured you would be trying to get your hands on one of the original hosts though which is why i'm contacting you. the null were installing things in them, on them. like those armored plates.

would have gotten this information to you sooner but it took us a week and a half to get out here, and the labs are about 33 meters deep so there's no service underground.

the null definitely know where we are, but maybe you guys can use one of the implants to see where the signal is coming from.

i think the bigger problem is this upcoming trade. we're all scattered - us and the gods - across a big area right now. the hand-off is the kind of advantage they need to screw us.

Shit yeah we should really try to get everyone back into town before that exchange happens. Like what if we have to move the city again and some of you are still out in the boonies? That's no good. Especially if youre not able to upload that footage before you get back.

Do you know if any of these implants uh well what the hell is the point of them? Let's start with that. Mind control? Any idea how effective it is?

i'd consult the null manifesto but they don't have one so i think we're shit out of luck in terms of understanding motivation beyond "everything must be null"
