Uh. Well, they're shapeshifters, so damaging most of their body isn't going to do much. It might slow them down, but they'll just morph around whatever damage you've caused. The only way to really take one down is to destroy the core processor. It looks like a soda can... Here, one sec.
[There's some metallic rummaging and after a few moments, Newt sends along a picture of one of the broken cores he mentioned. It is indeed about the size and shape of a soda can, and it's got what looks to be a bullet hole through the center, crumpling it a bit. It's clearly defunct.]
This is what you gotta aim for, but that's easier said than done. And even if you think you can take one out, don't purposely wake any up. The Null are all part of a hivemind, so waking up one could alert the rest to our location. We're totally screwed if that happens.
Uh, not sure on that. You'd have to ask Alphys. Our tech is pretty limited, so most of what we know is about their hardware. If there's a way to isolate one from the hivemind, though, we haven't figured it out yet.

Is it known what kind of communication frequency they're using? That would be the first step to isolating one from the rest of this hivemind.

You've been very helpful, Newt.

Uh, yeah, no problem... Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

[ Gotta make nice with the lab bosses. ]
