Nah like Kyna said that's too subtle for them. It doesn't make sense. As much as they need us to generate emotions they also need us to remain relatively docile. Permanently destroying a major source of food wouldn't work toward that.

So, you know about back home for me, yeah? The zombies and shit. There was one I met, he calls himself R. He pretty much saved my life, but the more time I spent with him the more he started changing. Like... being near me was doing something to him.

It was like he started coming back to life. Like he was connecting with something beyond just being Dead and eating people.

But that's not the theory. He was passing it on to others. Dozens of them. They were fascinated by him and by us. What if what happened to Name could be passed back to the rest of the Null? It talks about it like an infection, so what if it could infect the rest of them?

I mean I'll be honest that theory uhh well I don't know how likely it is but it's also not impossible?
I guess its sympathy for us might be caused by some Null equivalent of a computer virus. That could definitely pass between Null processors especially since they're all connected via hivemind network. The virus would have to spread since they're all in contact all the time.
