[Man, what a long day it's been, and this was only the investigation. Newt is so not looking forward to the trial tomorrow. Yet again, they have, like, nothing. How the hell are they supposed to walk out of this with a concensus now that they can't even vote for the partners? Ugh.

Whatever. That's tomorrow's problem. For now, he's just gonna... head back to his hut and try to get some sleep. Or that was the plan, anyway. He spots Hiro hanging around outside the huts. Oh! Good. They need to touch base. They always do, really. Newt heads over.]

[He's aimless, currently, just sitting outside nowhere in particular (probably near-ish his hut) when he hears Newt's question. He has his hoodie zipped up and his legs drawn up to his chest, but otherwise he looks okayish.
