[As soon as Newt is able to catch Caren alone, he taps her on the shoulder and waves for her to follow him into the bookstore. Time for some privacy.

NEWT'S FINDINGS - W4
7 April 2018 01:24since i'm gonna be a little late to the trial, this is what newt discovered during his body investigations! feel free to assume he tells everyone about this stuff.
JACOPO
- cause of death: his throat was slit and he bled out (though there wasn't as much blood as there should be)
- his fingers were cut off before he was killed (newt can tell from the amount of blood)
- nothing on the body smells like garlic (he sniffed the injection sites too it was gross)
- the throat slitting was caused by a different weapon than whatever took off his fingers
JONAS
- cause of death: the cut on his back
- the burning was done after death
- there are traces of shock damage on the body, but the burns are "more fire-y in nature"
- no smell of gasoline or anything other than burnt corpse ):
- no signs of a struggle
- the cut on his back was made with something sharp (could've been the knife or the glass)
CHUUYA
- cause of death: hole in his chest
- weirdly clean crime scene but everything was dry and there was no trace of cleany things
- stains on his chest are a mystery!!
- the hole in his chest goes all the way through and looks about the size of a force round bullet
- the hole in his chest is super precise (newt stuck his finger in to check, it was gross) and goes through his heart (so he probably died quickly)
- his clothes have a bit of wear and tear
