I told him afterward. After the investigation. That's... I made up the stupid story about him trying to kiss me.

He figured it out pretty easily since I'd talked to him about wanting to take out the Reapers a couple weeks back. We did meet on Friday, but only so he could yell at me about being an idiot. In the end, he agreed to cover for me. We're partners, and all.
