week 3 - yona - friday post-investigation

[Newt has been looking everywhere for Yona, and he can't find her. He's getting worried.

But then he remembers that there are some new spots for him to check, and he finally spots her heading down the jungle path to the flower field. Phew.]

Yona, hey. Thanks for calling me over when you found that body. [That is a blatant lie but he's glad she didn't have to deal with it, at least. He is thankful for that.]

Are you, um... [Okay? Dumb question.] Were you and Lelouch friends?

week 3 - yona - monday morning

[Newt and Yona are out at the cavern today. He promised he would give her some pointers for examining a corpse. He doesn't feel great about this, but she had a point when she brought it up in the first place. Some basic biology knowledge could do everyone here some good, just in case. He's even brought a dead fish for... examples, or something.

God, what the hell are they doing?]

So, uh, just a disclaimer here: I work with alien corpses, which aren't exactly human analogs. I'm not a literal doctor.

week 1 - yona - sunday post-execution

[So that... was something. Newt kept to himself through the execution. What was he really going to add to all of that? This sucks. Everyone is now very aware that this sucks. Case closed. All they can do is try to make it through another week... before they do all of this over again. Ugh.

He's spent the majority of the day since then wandering up and down the beach. He's not in the mood for his usual explorations and experiments today. When he spots Yona up ahead, he's glad to see her. He's been out here on his own for long enough that he'd appreciate some company.]

Hey. You up to anything or just hanging out?

[He's trying to keep it casual because casual means normalcy, but he's not as chipper as usual. He's never been great at hiding his feelings.]
