A distraction would make sense. Maybe they thought that would keep me busy for a while so I couldn't ask a bunch of questions. [...which is true, it kept him busy.]

So the next step is to find our item role or our seer or whoever they are and get them to work with us. I don't see why we can't all work together on this stuff.
